DAY 4 - OFF TO OSWEGO 151 KM - ARRIVED 16:15

The TDL team is starting  their day with a ferry ride to Wolfe Island, which is an island at the entrance to the St. Lawrence River and  the largest of the Thousand Islands.

On the Wolfe Island Ferry ...windy day today

Steve, Andrew, John, Jake      Richard Ian, Bernie

Ian & John

Andrew, Kelly, Terry
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, KELLY

Upon arrival, they will then have a short cycle across the island to take the Horne's Ferry and enter the United States at Cape Vincent, New York.  Hopefully "everyone" remembered to bring their passports.
TDL team photo (minus Tom who's taking the picture) on ferry.
Wx forecast says rain this afternoon.

Check out the flag at Cape Vincent - A tad windy.
Guess what? The weatherman was right.

Upon arrival into the US the cyclists braved rain for approximately 2-1/2 hours.  When they stopped for lunch at Henderson Harbour it stopped raining.  Shortly after that the sun came out and it got extremely warm..  However, everyone is in good spirits and is having a "beverage" in the bar as I type.  Cheers!!!!

TDL Hotel on the River (Quality Inn)

The TDL team ate together at the hotel restaurant on the riverfront and celebrated Kelly's Birthday!!!

IT WAS A GREAT DAY, IN SPITE OF THE RAIN.
GOOD NIGHT TDL TEAM, YOU DESERVE IT.
YOU ARE OVER THE HUMP AND STARTING YOUR WESTERLY WAY HOME.
