DAY 7 - THE HOMECOMING - ENTERED CANADA AT THE RAINBOW BRIDGE AT 11:00

After leaving Lockport at 08:30 this morning, the TDL team started to head home in perfect weather conditions.   Ed Telenko was the first to welcome the team back home as he "maneuvered" to position himself on the bridge to get some great pictures.

Our TDL team day riders (Vern Dell, Barry Ireland, Paul Monaghan, Anna Maria Raimondo, Reni DeVerteuil, Kurt (?), Ziggy Krueger and Cathy Henry), family and friends of the cyclists and yours truly, gathered at Christ Church in Niagara Falls and gave the around the lakers welcomed cheers as they made their first stop in Canada.   After a brief break, and lots of hugs and kisses, all the cyclists took off towards the Niagara Parkway to begin the last 50km back to where they started.  Anticipated arrival at the Golf Club is 14:45.   Their accomplishment is truly something to be celebrated.

DAY 6 - LOOKOUT LOCKPORT, HERE WE COME

After a good night's rest at their Rotarian host's homes, the team will plan a departure at 08:30 and cycle some 130 KM to Lockport, New York,  the final destination of their adventure.

The weather looks perfect for today.  They will be following the Erie Canal Trail and Route 31, experiencing some history and leisure pathway riding.

The cyclists have split up today into 3-4 different groups and heading towards Lockport at their own speeds.
The last of the cyclists are expected to arrive in Lockport at approximately 17:00.

This evening they will attend a picnic organized by the Rotary Club of Lockport.

Leaving Webster this morning and saying goodbye to our Rotarian Hosts.

But first, let's find out which way we're going!!

At least Dan and Terry found the Erie Canal.

A proud recipient of a cycling jersey, a water bottle and about 24 Clif bars (for his baseball team).  Mom is on the right and her Mom is the Rotarian.
