DAY 2 MORNING - READING THE LEADER AND DO YOU WANT FRIES WITH THAT?

After a good night sleep, Larry B., Tom and Andrew decided to catch up on the local Port Colborne news by reading The Leader.

Barry and Tom S. went to a nearby MacDonald's where they picked up 21 Egg McMuffins, 21 juices, 20 coffees and 1 tea.  (you guess who had the tea).  The group enjoyed their personally delivered breakfasts, had a team briefing and left Scarborough at approximately 0830 for Cobourg.

At noon the group had cycled some 60k and were planning to stop for lunch.  Apparently, Ian took a slide.

Rumour has it that they are all visiting the Cobourg Jail this evening.

AFTERNOON - On the way to Cobourg, the group stopped in Port Hope to visit the Canadian Fire Fighters Museum.

The riders arrived safely in Cobourg at 16:30.  Time to clean up and do some laundry before meeting at 18:30 for dinner.

EVENING -   The riders and drivers enjoyed dinner together at MacAllisters Grill and Tavern, located in the former Provincial Cobourg Jailhouse which was refurbished and converted into a unique inn with 20 rooms, a restaurant and a spa.
